"Pete" of Pete's Pest Control is extremely informative,professional, affordable, prompt and honest. All these attributes are great but the cherry on top is that what he does to solve your problem WORKS ! I don't know many people who can go to sleep at night if they fear some creepy crawly multi-legged unwanted pest trying to be a guest in their house. Our issue was ants. We felt house was built on an ant hill. My daughter living at the house while I was across the country. She called me freaking out one day after the ants attacked her puppy, while she was in her kennel. (poor puppy) Pete to the Rescue !That was last April 2012. Thank You So Very Much Pete ! Would call Pete again in a heartbeat with any future problem.

Pete's prices were half of the other guy, plus he didn't try to upsell me on other services immediately. When I asked about the difference in prices, he was funny, honest, and correct! Even though the nests were in the ground, in the garden, he didn't disturb the plants at all, yet was able to eliminate all the pests! We love Pete!

Can't say enough about Pete. Very refreshing to find an honest, upfront person these days. I thought I had a significant pest issue, Pete assured me this was not the case and in addition, pointed out a couple other issues with my house that I could remedy myself to prevent potential pest problems down the road. Pete provided quality customer service by timely responding to my voice message, arriving on time to do the work, explaining the process that he used to eradicate a large colony of yellow jackets that took up residency on our covered patio and by charging a reasonable rate for the work that he performed. Pete is the only person I will ever consider calling for my pest problems. I first started working with him about 3 years ago when I had a squirrel family living in my attic. He removed all of the squirrels and sealed the attic so they could not get back in, and they didn't. I also had issues with a spider infestation in my lawn and he was right on it. When I purchased a new home last year Pete was the first person I had come by to "bug proof" the house and that he did. I have only seen 2 tiny baby spiders in a year and a half and they likely came in from outside. His service is unmatched. He is incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. Pete came to my house and spend twenty minutes looking around for entry points that two mice that I snap trapped had come in. He located some areas, told me how to plug them and said that from what he could see, it was unnecessary for him to perform the mice service and receive my payment. I will act on his suggestions and if I have a problem in the future, will definately schedule. Pete was very honest and obviously takes pride in doing a great job, when his services are needed.

My rental house had a rat problem after the tenants left food out. I was disappointed by the first company I called--their estimate was prohibitively expensive. For significantly less, Pete came out, set traps and bait boxes, made a number of return visits, and resolved the rat problem within 10 days of the first visit. I am very pleased with his service and wouldn't hesitate to call him or refer him to others. Excellent service, prompt and economical.

When I was cleaning out the Basement of my house in North Portland, I discovered we had rats living in our house. The Infestation was pretty bad, they had obviously been there a while and were pretty well dug in, literally. I called Pete and he was able to come by the house for an initial consultation the next day. Over the course of the month, Pete worked with me to get rid of the rats, by educating me about their behaviors, where they get food and water, their social structures, and even teaching me about the hazards involved with dealing with rats. Pete was always prompt with appoinments, and professionally dealt with our rat problem, even taking extra measures to ensure the safety of our new kitten. When Pete's Pest control did the treatment it appeared much more in depth then the last time we had it done. Pete's treated the attic and crawl space in addition to the rest of the house during the proceedure and as I recall that did not happen while the last company was here. We had a carpenter ant problem. I called 10 different exterminators seeking information about their company. I asked about their experience, their approach to eliminating these pesky ants, prices and so on. After a full morning of calling I narrowed the search to two exterminators and made a second call with more direct questions about the situation and how best to solve the problem. One call was to Pete's Pest Control. Pete was extremely informative. He asked me numerous questions so he could better address the situation via phone. He was prompt in his appointment and spent a great deal of time asking more questions while doing a thorough examination of the house and yard. He then explained what he was going to do and why. When I needed pest control for one of my rentals in the East Portland area.... I contacted Pete's Pest Control. The owner was great to work with and understood my concerns regarding my tenents and the ongoing ants, spider and bee issues they had. They not only made an appointment for that same day, but had all the pest issues solved in two weeks just as promised. I was also pleased to find that this company takes care of rodents, squirrels, mice, or any other animal containment or removal issues that may arrise. I own six rentals and have now set up an account with this company to deal with any future pest control needs. This company did more than pest control--they helped me understand my home! After hiring them to spray for ants they came back out for another concern I had regarding rodents. After trouble-shooting where the rodents could be coming from, a broken sewer line, they refunded my money & told me to put it towards the costly repair. More than reasonable, and suggested I call them if my rodent issue wasn't resolved. I will always use & recommend this company.

Recently we had a large paperwasps nest that we found on our property off Germantown road & Hwy 30. My husband is extremely allergic to bees and the nest was too high for me to remove. I found Pest's Pest Control thru a friend who had used thier services. I called to ask about the services they offered & was pleasently surprised by the knowledgeable and freindly person I spoke with. They had a man out the next afternoon to remove the nests and treat for all types of bees. Quite reasonably priced and great customer service....C.V.
